  • Not German either. I think a lot of people here are not German although the majority is.

  • Well, I'm from Bavaria. Native bavarians aren't more german than ppl from Austria or the german speaking swiss. It's a political thang. Until this naughty bastard with the little beard came we even had our own citizenship :cry:.

    Although I really have to say first I see myself as a cosmopolitan, and then as bavarian 8)

    What do you mean? It's a world map, it only defaults on the US because thats the country the creator of this (Nexuizplayers) map is located.

    If you zoom out (or drag over) you can see there are many european players on the map already as well.

    i'm sorry if anyone got this the wrong way,but as a german you have to live with this pestering about the past and it can be,well, quite annoying,so we're used to making jokes about our heritage :wink:

  • @urmel : just wanted to ask you what does 'Urmel' mean ? I speak german, so i easy understand "aus dem Eis", but i can't find what urmel means. Is it just a name ?

  • From the german wikipedia:
    Urmel aus dem Eis ist ein Kinderbuch von Max Kruse, einem Sohn der berühmten Puppenmacherin Käthe Kruse.
    Meaning: Urmel aus dem Eis is a childs book from Max Kruse, son of the famous doll-maker Käthe Kruse.
    So this book was about Urmel which was found in a big ice block iirc..
