  • These days I don't seem to be very lucky. On saturday I had to notice that my one week old Linux partition has conquered its neighbour NTFS partition at a size of about 100gigs in an iniquitous way. This was the partition where my almost 10.000 MP3 files, driver archive and backup files where saved.

Then I had to realize that that one external drive where a backup of most of the mp3 files should be is rather empty. Now I'm trying to restore the overwritten partition. This really sucks. It takes about 24hrs just for the file search, of which I'm running the third now (I'm testing different recovery applications).

Yesterday I couldn't find the key of my company's building anymore. Must have lost it over the weekend. This key belongs to a so to say "maximum security" locking system, this means, if I don't find it, I have to tell that to my boss and he will have to change all the locks and of course the keys - at a cost of about 20.000 european bucks.

Wtf happens here? Have I done anything bad to be bothered that way? :(

  • rather funny, nearly the same the same happened to me about 2 years ago. lost all my mp3's due to a nasty raid-array crash and a couple of kids stole my security card of the company i'm working for. they had to change all the locks....
