I was trying some settings with gloss and I saw something nice in farewell map





on silvercity dint work no gloss or something

r_shadow_gloss 2
r_shadow_gloss2intensity 2

when mapchange or restart it will not work anymore , I did delete my config and entered again the 2 cvars then it worked again , dunno why he does that.

r_shadows 1 , found it , i was curious because i saw that in someones video. it wasnt in ultra or ulimate config , so.

doesnt get affected bye rtlights , dunno what that is , in direct lights seems be affected
would be cool to have r_shadows 2 for only shadow of your self , and put it then in ultra and ultimate Because in spacemaps people are darker of it. and now you can have you own kickass shadow and not the darky other players , space doesnt have mutch lights

It's not in ultra.cfg/ultimate.cfg because both of them are using real shadows cast by realtime lights.

That's because r_shadows casts fake stencil shadows.

aha ok tnxs , btw the stencil shadow here are realy good , for example in warsow sometimes when you jump you get you own shadow infront of your eye , the view become darker , realy weird , because its the same darkplace code , the stencil shadows in warsow where made by LordHavoc , if im right.
