Since the number of players wanting to create a Nexuiz fansite or clansite is growing I thought it would be a nice thing to do to add a web development topic to the Alientrap forum so our technical community can provide you with the necessary answers.

Feel free to post your questions, hint, tricks, etc here. Every category of web development is welcome here, whether it's server-side or client-side scripting, HTML, XML, web design, CSS, graphics, etc. But please don't post matters like: "Please fix my script for me", "How to decode ioncube/zend coverted scripts?", etc. because we all have things to do ourselves .

Using a framework will save you a lot of time (and perhaps money) in development but this is not really recommended for developers getting into a technology as it won't increase your knowledge of the technology but only of the framework and perhaps of web development in general.

Cool man, good idea. Can you link your urls?

Frameworks are wonderful but they may be a little much for a beginner. I plan on coming out with a NDK (Ninja Development Kit) within a month or two that uses a pseudo framework that will help new developers grasp the MVC concept without going neck deep.

Most frameworks are a bit too much for small projects and beginners but there are also smaller choices available, it just requires a little researching and testing.
