i present you: Kissel

"Kisiel" is one of the wonders i grew up with (like "Birds Milk"). it's made from fruits cooked with sugar and starch, resulting in a sweet slimy fruit goo. if you like pudding and fruits you should like Kissel, too.

you gotta try mango with cinamon!

Yeah, my grandma makes this stuff by hand, when I visit her in Russia. It's a pretty simple drink.
But this Birds Milk is way too sweet imho.

Blintzes is also a very universal dish. You can eat this stuff with everything. Ground meat, fruit jam, sour cream... (don't mix these, of course )

i prefer it thick like jelly, so i can eat it. or smear it on waffles and top it with whipped cream.
