Hello everyone. My name is Mircea and I just registered here after playing Nexuiz for a few days now. I got to see how everything works with it and and I have to say it's a very beautiful and well made game. It still needs a lot of work of course but so far it's very impressive and amazing.

The fact Alientrap made such a game for free and open source is even more impressive however, as this game is very complex and probably hard to build so I really want to congratulate you for it, you people rock. It proves there are still teams out there that can make something this beautiful without commercial interests. I was also very happy to see that so far, the players of this game and community seem to contain a much smaller number of people you could call "noobs" (ugly word I know) which you often find on most online gaming servers.

I would have been very happy to help with building more on this game, but sadly I'm not good with programming or coding and such things so the best I help with on such projects is bug testing from time to time and pointing out some suggestions. I am however slightly good with mapping (though usually simple maps) and also done texturing a bit. I made many maps for the Unreal Tournament series so I'm used to such. Anyway hope to see this game get further and can't wait to play more. See you all around

Yeah I still have some maps around... truth is I didn't make so many in total and most of my maps are still unfinished betas from years ago. Didn't know you could port UT maps directly into Nexuiz however (if that's what you meant). Sadly I don't have the map editor for the game (kradiant if that's the editor) and never worked with that editor either. I also never played or modded anything else on the quake engine other then Nexuiz and Kingpin - Life of Crime many years ago. As for the other question, I am a furry myself if it's ok to mention that I even made a furry map for UT three months ago or so which I still have around, though I guess this isn't the type of game that has many furs around.

Actually, no. I'm just someone who enjoys related artwork and such, I don't do anything like that in real life if people where curious to know.

Sorry, i got over excited. It's alway been one of my fav ideas to have a nexuiz Fancydress lan party. Sepelio, ai and the adminz won't alow it anyway.
