i realized this while going thru the hint messages from the DCC Beginners server and thought about some changes:
1 - The Beginners server should be pinned atop the server browser.
2 - "Cheat Mode": all weapons, no lethal fire.
3 - One or two bots that just run around and collect items (maybe shooting eachother).

That way you could try out stuff whithout being shot.

If people want to just try stuff out, shouldn't they play a local game? The single player campaign is a nice place to start. It really does surprise me that so many people start playing online without any gameplay experience at all.

I appreciate your thoughts about an optimal support for the newbies. What I don't understand is - why do you want to change the DCC newb server that way? A better idea imo would be a new newb server. The DCC server is fine the way it is, does its intended job well and shoudln't mutate to a kind of test server.

Tis a crazy level. The only one that ALMOST took me 2 attempts. Cept I did it in one.

No, it's not. It's Deathmatch against 4 bots on Q1Dm6 Remake.

Damn, the level with the laser guided Rockets was hard

However, I could finish the campagne someday (when I didn't have internet connection ). ONS and RACE should be included with the next release.
