the thing with kolsch beer is that usually its served in 200ml glasses. so half kolsch is 100ml. thats less than a single gulp : ) . Its nice though 4 summery days or 4 a pub crawl during the carnival in cologne : ) you can go to really many places without being that fu@#$ed up .

As for the grolsch vs heineken: The thing is that heineken is so different in amsterdam and in the NL generally than in the uk or greece where i ve had it. its much more bitter and well brewed in the NL. (generally though i prefer grolsch) . However, the clear cut winner 4 me is still amstel. its our "common" beer in greece, grew up with it : )
