I live in a nart of norwayt thats infamous for the sunsets and -rises. When I drove home around 0100 tonight it was particulary nice, so when I got home I got the camera and wen t out again.. sadly i was a little too late for the best part, but I though I'd share it anyhow I even had to get back in trhe car to get to a place high enough

This is about as dark as it gets here now at mid-summer.

Next time you should make 360° pictures, it would make an awesome skybox for Nexuiz maps

lol.. that is actually a good idea.. allthough this is made with a 200mm so a 360 would me 50 times bigger, I could at least activly try and make pictures that can be morphed into a 360

yeah, and there is software that would assemble these pics anyway ^^

I know there is swoftware to assemble the picss, but as i said, this is made with a 200mm on a digital, so ther real angle of the perspective is something like 6 degrees, that requires 60 pictures to make a full 360

Good software I can recomend is VRWorks. Well, it's not THAT good but it gets the job done without giving you a migrene.
I've done about a milion and one panoramas and 360's, QTVR's, etc.
Without getting too much into the complicated stuff, a simple tripod and a decent focal length should give you the results you need.

The weather was all moody again today so I took the camera to the same place, and made some 20 shots.. thats shuold produce something like 40 deg total, and with a lil handywork than can be merged into a 360-like thing.. I'll do it whenever i get the time
