  • Hello everyone!

I wanted to access game data (those pk3s), but I couldn't find the directory. Nor via disk search, nor manually.

My operating system is Ubuntu 9.10. I installed Nexuiz from a repository and haven't downloaded .zip from sourceforge.

Can anybody aim me, where I could find this stuff, please? ;)

  • dpkg -L package

shows you all installed files for a package. Keep in mind that often there's a corresponding -data package for the game data. So check for both packages:

    nexuiz

    and

    nexuiz-data

    Good luck.

  • Code: Select all
    unfa@unfa-desktop:~$ dpkg -L nexuiz-data
    /.
    /usr
    /usr/share
    /usr/share/games
    /usr/share/games/nexuiz
    /usr/share/games/nexuiz/data
    /usr/share/games/nexuiz/data/data.pk3
    /usr/share/doc
    /usr/share/doc/nexuiz-data
    /usr/share/doc/nexuiz-data/copyright
    /usr/share/doc/nexuiz-data/changelog.Debian.gz
    unfa@unfa-desktop:~$

    Thanks a lot, lda17h :)
