IMHO, I think it is great the way it is right now. There is enough information in the statement to give a adequate picture of what went down.
For people interested in learning something from the mistakes, or rather grave errors depending on perspective, one can always ask for IRC logs from those days.
Maybe someone who have access to these logs should upload those, to a safe file hosting site. Whether its box.net or any other, and please, not any of those horrible sites with tons of ad's and directed towards gamers.
Those don't feel trustworthy over a long duration of time.

Anyway, the point is, the community has done, not what we can, but rather a whole lot, to process and give the world a sane statement what happened. So, "let it be". :3
But these logs, would be a good idea to put somewhere safe. Hopefully they don't start to "clean" the forums of these past events.

Dont second guess yourself halogene, the letter was a good initiative. Theres always things to do better, and the the Nexuiz community is not the one who started the silence, nor is it up to it to break it, imo.

Thanks, Komier. I already put it onto the forum for signature, since it was idling for about 24 hours on piratepad. There are still some errors in it, I know, but overall it is grammatically/spelling-wise acceptable. If you like, you can sign it there too.
