The trip has now started. First stage is Going from Trondheim to Oslo by bus. Bus instead of train because the bus company is much cheaper, and they have internet access all the way, how cool is that. I'm currently about 12 km from Trondheim, going south.

And of cource, the most natural place in the world from which to start the trip is the Grand Central Station in Trondheim:

Arrived in Oslo this morning around 0730, cute girl at the bus kept me awake, so there was only a few hour sleep. Spent the day in a server room which was in complete disarray. Lots of work to do but it pays well. Have to go back in a few weeks time to set up new servers but at least I now know what has to be done.

Anyway, in the capitol's parade street you can see the royal resicence if you look to the north. If you look to the south you can see the grand central station, and if you actually go to the grand central staion, you can see this most important of monuments:

i was trying to get things sorted to come over as a super-special surprise guest robot, but i was sick the whole week (evil virus). So i also missed the CeBit. -_-

Hm, the frightening part is that, considering my trippy-go-lucky state of memory and my spontaneous nature, it could have very well happened.

After that day of work in Oslo I went visiting my brother who lives not far from Oslo itself. The plan was to stay there for the night, then in the morning take the airport express directly to Oslo airport Gardermoen. However, since the plane left 0755 I had to be there 2 hours in advance, i had to get up shit early. The alarm went off 0445 I think... I at least had the common sense to make food the night before that i brough to eat on the train... Good thing i did get up early, cause when i got to the airport, i realized the plane left 0735, not 0755.



Just a few hours later, I arrived at Munic airport, and when i stepped out of the air port arrival hall, and crashed into the parked rental cars, it was not hard to realisr I was in Germany...



I took the local underground into the center of town, and a few hours later i met up with Urmel who left work early in my honor. We spent the rest of the day with meeting his family and him showing me around in Munic and inviting me for a local specialities dinner at a restaurant. The sight-seeing of cource including all the common sights, allthoug superfidical, since the real tourist trip was planned for Saturday, when also Utze and Strahlemann would arrive.

Saturday was the great "seeing munic, and meeting other people"-day. First Utze and his girlfriend joined us for breakfast, and a little later Strahlemann joined us as well. Allthough Strahle and Urmel both come from Munic they have never met before either. The plan for the morning was being tourists and seeing the things weæve never seen before (at least some of us).

Food and drink are important cultural concepts, and visiting food markets is always great. The most natural thing to do, it seems, is to get horse meat, either to go, as Strahlemann in the background did, or for later, as presented by Utze:



One cannot claim to be on a tourist trip without visinging the real cultural/historical sights, now can one? Everyone in agreement that appendance would fit me well, say aye (will also be counted as voulenteering for the plan to get it):

My "excuse" for going to munic this weekend was to go to a concert in the Olympiahalle on Saturady. Urmel fixed really great tickets for us, and allthough its much more my kind of music than his kind, he joined me for the concert. While we was there Strahle and Utze with companions went to a bar/guesthouse.

later that night i became somewhat ill. Urmel's great plan of strong beer for the night kinda went out the window for my part. Strahle went home after the bar and didnt return on saturday, but Utze stayed over with Urmel as well and We all kept talking and stuff thougout the night. It was very nice finally talking face to face with people I've been talking with ion line for so many years

Sunday morning I was still a bit under the weather but Urmel used esteel to wake me up.. that is, esteel called and Urmel threw the phone to me. Esteel was.. cofused, to say the least.

Anyways. Utze was still there, and some time after breakfast Srahlemann rejoined us. Esteel also came down to munic around midday. Unfortunetely Utze had to leave before esteel arrived, and esteels visit was short, since I had to leave in the afternoon for my plane,it was still great that he took the effort to come meet us though, especially considering he also came home last weekend cause he misread the dates . On a funny sidenote, esteel and Strahle has not met face to face since the "TV thing" either, so this was also somewhat a reunion.



Think about it.. the persones in this room (Urlmel, Esteel, Strahlemann, and me behind the camera), not even counting strahle, can probably be blamed for around half of the posts in this forum over time XD

Why should we visit a brewery? In munich we have big shops offering a great variety of finest stuff, while breweries use to only serve five or six grades of one brand and usually close around midnight at latest. No good for midnight chatters 'r' us

Weekend is over, Going home.

Urmel drove me to the airport. Autobahn is always fun for us living in countris with 80 km/h speed limits. Trip to Oslo went pretty well, but still being sick i really didnt want to humå home on a train that night, so I bought a last minute airline ticket from Oslo to Trondheim (yeah.. thats cheap) and got on the last flight home. My niece picked me up at the airport and drove me home.

When i left Norway on thursday, it was spring, and rain, and no snow anywhere.. when i came back it was like this:
