I don't like this zeroSpace style so i wanted to select subSilver in my profile.
But my choice has no effect... could you correct that, please?

I think the forum does support only this style right now. No idea though why you can choose an other (not working) one though.

its sprung from a glitch in the first version of this forum we installed. since we needed to mod some images and stuff to fit the forum and the only way to make this be in power for all users i had to turn on a override to make this skin the default no matter what. i will look into changing this in the future (or maybe some of the otehr admin will beat me to it since im having net issues atm)

however any new styles will need to get adapted with icons and stuff to it may be a while before/if at all this happens.

tZork: do you know what was all changed in the zeroSpace template aside from the header logo graphic and the topic indicator graphics? I've been planning on updating the template to current code, then adding back subSilver (and possibly others) shouldn't be too difficult provided it was only the template itself that was modified and not the global board files.

something i was wondering about that board... But why the hell is the text cursor black ???? :/ I assume that on a majority of people screens there's no matter with that, but when you have a well calibrated screen the background blue is really dark, so that the black text cursor is almost invisible.

It would be really great if it was in a light grey instead of black imho...

I'm using Firefox and actually the cursor ISN'T black...
It's grey..

oh you're right didn't notice it as i mostly use Safari for classic web browsing (which has a lotta little annoying problems like this one, but not as much as that crappy IE).

one more reason to use firefox... but it takes ages to open compared to safari opera also renders correctly the cursor, but it also takes ages to open... :'-(

If memory serves logo and icons is it, but i may be wrong. I have a distant memory of messing arround in the phpsource for some reason.

subSilver is now an option for those that wish to use it.

If you don't mind me asking, what problems did you have with the zeroSpace theme? It has always seemed very readable to me.
