  • So basically, this thread is about as short as possible quick brown foxes.

    The "sphinx" is already quite good, only uses three letters twice... does such a sentence with exactly 26 letters exist?

    I doubt so, which makes the "sphinx" even better - the problem is that only six letters (a e i o u y) can act as vowels. However, the u gets "eaten" by the q... this would make five vowels left, but 20 consonants (including "qu"), which looks impossible to me.

    Googling[TM] found me these:

    # Quick zephyrs blow, vexing daft Jim. (29 letters)
    # Waltz, nymph, for quick jigs vex Bud. (28 letters)
    # Blowzy night-frumps vex'd Jack Q. (26 letters)
    # Glum Schwartzkopf vex'd by NJ IQ. (26 letter)

    But the last two obviously don't count. And the others don't exactly make sense - the "sphinx" would "feel at home" in a fantasy/adventure/RPG context.
    1. Open Notepad
    2. Paste: ÿþMSMSMS
    3. Save
    4. Open the file in Notepad again

    You can vary the number of "MS", so you can clearly see it's MS which is causing it.
