You could just compress all the other versions beyond recognition

C'mon, a 4 GB pendrive costs about $50 here in New Zealand. I can't imagine they'd be more than $30 over there...

Hehehe, sorry that was a misunderstanding.. i just wanted to tell you that its not a new thing of 2.2.3 that you can carry it around on a usb stick. You could do that with all other versions already and it comes from the way the (quake) engine stores its settings on windows.

I love this update.
My FPS went from 30-50 to more then double that.
Whatever you guys did, you did good.

Everything feels much smoother and movement is less laggy now (I had some slight problems moving regardless of ping)

Yeah I really intended this comment towards 2.2.3.
I've been away for a few months and haven't had a chance to play much of anything.
Last night I checked the forum and noticed the new(ish) version so I gave it a shot.

So yeah, while it's 4 months old, it's new to me

I'll make sure to try the test 2.3 as well but time hasn't been really on my side lately so I don't have a chance to play nearly as much as I would like to.
