Nexuiz 2.0 has been released! This is another massive update to the game, new features such as a single player campaign with completely new advanced bot AI, five new maps, new particle effect system, weapon changes, and complete precompiled bumpmapping with GLSL shaders. We have also optimized the game heavily, and improved net performance. You can download here:

From what i have read (haven't playtestedt it yet) it's seems to be a great step forward.

Well i already know what the release is like but its great to see it finaly out in the wild. Looking forward to some cool matches with all of you!

Yeah thats true. People are welcome to spread the word in a kind manner! Post to news sites, tell friends, burn it on CD and 'loose' them for others to pick up . Tell people at work, tell quake releated sites, those love quake-based games .

Go tell it on the mountain.

And tell it to your (local) it media, national newspapers and so on .)

Great release! Have only played the forum release so far, but hey - it only can get better
Much greater improvement than 1.5 was, it looks like Nexuiz is on its way to the best open source game out there (yes, yes, i know it already is )

The many players, who watched the progress from 1.0 or later releases untill now, can imagine best the hard work that was put into Nexuiz, and if not done yet, feel, like to donate some spare dollars/euros/zloty/krones - so dont hold back, it will help the developers to continue there great work

Depending on the place you look there are lots of people that like to think other wise A friend of mine does not like it very much because the 'grenade launcher' is actually one of the best wepaons
