Would you like to have a split screen mode in Zymotic even if the premiere of it would be delayed?

Did you make action quake , or the bots from action quake ? your name is so familiair
or was it ChaosDM ? havoc engine in HL2 ?
and ty for nexuiz :) it a ownage game.

The only things I've ever released are:
    DarkPlaces mod
    DarkPlaces engine
    some quake1 maps
a lot of utilities (including dc6conv for Diablo2 modding, a collaboration with FrikaC) and a few format specs

Additionally I've been significantly involved in the Nexuiz project, and minorly involved with UFO: Alien Invasion, GTKRadiant, and a lot of technical consulting for various free games/engines, I was also a play tester for a few things.

I haven't done anything involving Unreal series or HalfLife series, and very little involving Quake2.

I have played Action Quake 2, but not Action Quake 1, and don't know the authors.

Quake2 was a great modding platform, I just never got into modding for it because the base game was boring to me :)

Plus, QuakeC is easier to mod... but not as flexible.

dc6conv was a utility to convert pcx images to/from .dc6 images (user interface images in Diablo2), FrikaC introduced me to the .dc6 format and wanted a little help with it, I figured out the format using a hex editor and wrote up an informal spec for it to help FrikaC implement it, and then we collaborated on the code itself.

This success was met with a cease and desist letter from Blizzard directed at FrikaC, they seemed to be trying to stomp out all modding for Diablo2 at the time (they've since reversed their position on modding, and some of the later Diablo2 versions actually added a few features to help modders).

I've heard the core code of dc6conv is still used today in some graphical editing utilities for Diablo2.
