I've been meaning to ask this for a while now, and given the fact 2.5 is getting close to being released I think this is the right time to think about it. Do you believe Nexuiz should be officially distributed with NetRadiant and possibly a terrain generator utility as well? Much like the UT series always came with Unreal Editor in them... of course if Radiant is allowed to be redistributed together with the game which I think it should be.
I think it would make things much more easy and encourage mapping a lot if a version of Radiant was included with the game too (NetRadiant would be the best I think). Also the terrain generator utility EasyGen would be something useful to have near NetRadiant, for those who make terrain maps generated from heightmap files. Users would then just install the game and open the editor whenever they wish to map, without having issues with getting Radiant separately and make sure they have an updated entities.def at all times. The game would also be a complete pack then... game + mapping utility which imho would be much better.
Radiant doesn't weight much in file size so I don't see any issue with having it with the game for a complete set. So what do you all think? Should Nexuiz 2.5 just come packed as the game only, the game + NetRadiant or the game, NetRadiant and a terrain generator utility like EasyGen?
