  • Hey all,

    I recently discovered aestats ( http://aeons.planetquake.gamespy.com ) and thought it would be nice to have such a thing running with my nexuiz servers. But I really have problems finding the correct log-file-format.
    does anyone of you know which game I have to choose?
    these are available:

    -aq2 Action Quake II.
    -aqs Action Quake II ($illy edition).
    -ci Cold Ice (Half-Life Mod).
    -cs Counter-Strike (Half-Life Mod 1.3+).
    -cse Counter-Strike (Event Enhanced, v1.3+).

  • None of these - aestats does not support Nexuiz. Nexuiz has an event logging feature (see Docs/eventlog.txt) that can be used for this - but a log analyzer needs to know the format, or you need a tool to convert Nexuiz's format to another one.
    1. Open Notepad
    2. Paste: ÿþMSMSMS
    3. Save
    4. Open the file in Notepad again

    You can vary the number of "MS", so you can clearly see it's MS which is causing it.

  • ok, I see ... asked aeon for nexuiz support.

    do you know another one that solves this problem? saw that eventlog.txt mentions a log-file-parser ... is it there a testing-version anywhere? I'd volunteer for alpha/beta-testing

    afaik it runs at least on to servers.

    For frag24.net and pbserver, but currently reworked, can find here http://45189.vs.webtropia.com/26001.php

    And it seems to me as stormassault.com uses them too.

  • AND not to forget the great http://delight.vapor.com/ by the generous Sxen (the coder-god from hell) who certainly provides the most well-engineered stats pages in the Nexuiz world 8)

    he gave it to me, so I'm pretty sure he'll give it to you. If it's ok with him I'll send them to you. Still need to work on TSA's when I get the spare time, but I am very busy, so I may not be able to anytime soon... You know I'm good with ajax, that's a hint for you on what to expect ;)

    I´d really like that too, what is the best way of getting in touch with him? i used the ...@delight .com adress

    or if Psychiccyberfreak can send the file along if you can get in touch with him and ask.

    Argh, I forgot to include them. :(

    Got hit by a influenza infection or something and can't think straight at the moment. But when I'm recovered a bit I'll try to package and send what I find.

  • Got it running ...

    All NWN-Server.de -Nexuiz-Servers are now statistically analysed by Sxen's statsscript.
    I modified it a bit, so there is no showing of the daytime you are playing. (as discussed over here: http://forums.alientrap.local/viewtopic.php?t=1216 )
    What still is shown is the days you played first and last and the charts where the matches are listed for the actual month.

    Anyone needs help with it? I got some ... ok a bunch of problems solved, perhaps I could help anyone else with my experience.

    A great THANKS to Sxen and Nil who supported me while setting it up!

    {btw: @ Nil: the python set() error in scorematch.py I got fixed with: "import sets" and replacing all "set(" with "sets.Set(" }
