And what about nicknames

  • I have a question that interested me for rather a long time: why do you people use different nicknames for forum and Nexuiz, or maybe you play on non-public servers? I mean I started playing Nexuiz a year ago but haven't ever met the majority of you.

  • Same as Alien, although a long time ago I used to play as "Thanatos".

    Occasionally I play as various other names just out of boredom. They tend to change lots.
    Possibly not the worst mapper in the world.

  • One of the reasons may be that a large part of the active forum members is occupied with working on the game, so they don't have much time playing Nexuiz. Another reason may be that we're from all around the world, playing at different times. Yet another reason would be that it's easy to change the name in Nexuiz, while it's rather unusual to change your forum account nick, and sometimes it's just fun! :lol:

  • well, i use different nicks for game and forum :), but in any case either i couldn't find forumers in e.g. DCC server stats or they last played long ago... well never mind

  • Too many threads, they're lagging my system.

    Guys, stop making so many threads! THIS IS NOT JAVA (and if it were, stop anyway)! Use select() to wait for multiple inputs!
    1. Open Notepad
    2. Paste: ÿþMSMSMS
    3. Save
    4. Open the file in Notepad again

    You can vary the number of "MS", so you can clearly see it's MS which is causing it.

    <Community>: Why was the name "Nexuiz" licensed to IllFonic in a way that allows IllFonic to use the name without any suffix or subtitle for a commercial console game?

  • I used a lot of this stuff when I discovered that the (reputedly non-existant) steroids made my butt... nah, never mind... it's a long story...
    With a lot of pain. And a lot of hairs... So sad... *sniff*
